“It’s the little things that make a big difference”
In the beginning we were looking for:
- A useful idea or product
- A worthwhile market
- To make people happier
Many lunchtimes were spent in Abbey Gardens, Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk cloud watching on beautiful sunny days discussing “ideas”.
Little did we know at the time, the "idea" was staring us in the face.
It started with painting blue skies with fluffy white clouds as ceiling art, then building a light box with painted clouds on panels fitted into it.
From there our thoughts were “if you can fit them into a light box, then you could fit them into suspended ceilings”, Sky Panels were born!
From the birth of the “idea” it took many months to get finished Sky Panels to market.
Many challenges along the way, manufacture, regulations, fire testing to name but a few, but we did it!
